I saw a good video that nailed it on how Trump talks. It is like instead of using umm and hmm and errr he uses short jokes and US Flattery (attempted) to buy time as he tries to figure out what to say next to dig himself out of his holes.  He never seems prepared for what he will say and his communication skills seem that of high school level sadly. Still, his religious views are good and made a difference but with covid the focus is now sadly on how badly he handles how to deal with the virus and how he believes in conspiracy theories.
