I wish I could afford that It is so nice to be on that but he will be selling it. I would be over at his place every day instead of at home if his chair was as comfy as mine lol.  You might not be aware but you are currently using the guts of that same computer you were using at that time. don't think I had the GTX 760 in it yet but mb, ram and cpu I pulled out of the old Lanboy Air case.

Since this is the Katie's PC thread this will be posted here since the PC exhaust fan died.

So now we are looking for a replacement fan and I found this:

However it will have to wait til March as I just noticed today I have ZERO balance in my bank account. Turns out when I went to the store and was surprised that when I bought groceries with my mom the day before and then today went to a store with OneEyed I was surprised that my debit card did not bounce. Well turns out it emptied my bank account and was using my CC for the balance. That was the only reason I was able to get what I bought without the debit declining. Well, even though that saved me embarrassment I would have liked to have known that I didn't have the money to spend. It was a shock when I checked my account later. Bad ya this is the 3rd fan to die on my case in the last .. I am not sure how many .. 3 years? I find with this Pandemic I have lost track of the time.

Because of a previous order which did not show up and I cancelled I have a $5 coupon on my Amazon.ca account. I am told I will see it when I purchase something on the billing page so I assume it is there. Still I don't want something that will fail so a week more to go and I will have my disability in my bank acct again and then can look. I was looking at these but I don't know which are good for my computer and which aren't. There are hydro bearings, ball bearings, double ball bearings, sealed bearings, etc. What would last in my dust attracting apartment and not die in my case when I have my computer on 24/7?

You want a fan that will last?  You could take a look at Corsair ML120 PRO LED 120mm Blue LED Premium Magnetic Levitation PWM Fan.  They are a little on the pricy side, but worth the extra expense since you will never have to replace them for several years.

Just about everything we know is based on numbers in one form or another.  So knowing a little something about math is helpful. 

But about your earlier post.  Typical how so many businesses offer an incentive like that to "new" customers.  But leave the existing, loyal customers hanging out to dry.

Ah now I remember what I said that got deleted accidentally!

I was able to get $20 taken off for 2 years on my Cogeco (CGO) Cable bill as well as for my mom! Why? Long time customers. That is the only time I was able to see a discount that was not for new customers! However, it was not advertised but was something only offered when you say you were thinking about leaving to save money with someone else.

OneEyed when you can put the 16 Gb of RAM in for me? Also clean the dust out at the same time from the remaining working fans (3 left in my case are working) and out of the other components. I am waiting on a doctor appointment with my family doc (so far they couldn't get me in until after my next London transplant appointment so I am calling in the morning to reserve for a walk in appointment tomorrow soo the time I go is still up in the air but after that I should be free) so I am hoping AFTER that Thursday or perhaps Saturday? Let me know what works for you.

Yeah, really.  8gb of ram just won't cut it with windows 10 and any current web browser.  Windows itself will eat up 4gb+.  And you need to say a prayer to the memory gods if you are using google chrome and don't at least have a blazing fast SSD to run the swap file from.  lol.
