I just stated that as another option as to why a multi-channel ram configuration may suddenly drop a channel. Honestly, there could be a half a dozen reasons why this could happen. I'm just glad that it was a simple fix in this case.

For some odd reason, I was under the impression that you only had 8Gb of ram. Sorry about that.

Let me clarify. I was showing only 8Gb of ram. Then Dave stated I should have 16Gb because that is what he put in. Then I checked and discovered one stick of ram was not properly seated. Reseated it. Now back to 16Gb
