Ah u can't share it there until it is complete? You always like to keep working on mods and make them better and better though.

I was watching these guys play on this map .. wow looks hard. Have you done this map?

I don't know that map but I do know all 4 of those players.  Brute, Serious and SID are all modders from spintires forums.  And in fact, those 3 are driving their own WIP's.  SID had just released that sweet 1987 Jeep YJ not long ago.

I didn't know that the F150 Raptor had been updated to the newer version!  I last used that in the tech demo...here's what I did to it:



Wheels from Dorothy, which, BTW Sandman, I literally stumbled upon a way to update while trying to find the download page.  Dorothy's making a comeback!

Yeah, there has been the F150 raptor out for a little while now.  Seriously underpowered but there is one for the current version of ST.  Well, good luck with your Dorothy comeback.  Your going to need it.

As for me, I have been learning a few more new tricks myself and have been giving my swamp monster mod a major overhaul.  Even integrated a couple of new addons for the Uaz.  And I think I may have finally squashed the last of the bugs.  I am hoping to have it wrapped up in the next few days.

Now I just need to figure out winch points, the damage box, the water level origin, and why it refuses to move in auto or 1+.  >.>

Yeah.  That's going to be a heck of a lot of work to do.  Not only will you have to re-write the truck.xml file and most of the custom addon files too, but you might have to edit the truck.x file as well to get all the parts that move to work correctly.

You seen the hell I went through to properly port that Zil 133 over to current version.  But then again, I didn't know then, half of what I know now.

You will have to send it to me via Skype or something because it says I don't have permission for that (guess I would have to register for an account). I am reading to my mom's to speak to her ISP tech as he called her about some Malaysian Trojan she has or something and her phone is not cordless so she can't be on the computer at the same time so I am going over with my cell 

I will be home later. I am going over to investigate the validity of this as well as reassure my mom that all is okay or fix what ever the problem is. I wish my mom knew as much about computers as your mom does Sand...

Just based on that, KT, it sounds like she's still using dial-up.  If that's the case...try to convince her to at least upgrade to DSL, if not to cable broadband.
