The one she loved was not a cheap mouse, (that's why me and my sis had to go in on it for her) was Logitech g series. not sure if it was on sale but it was over $100 Canadian (probably closer to $150) when bought so if that gives you an idea.

Probably the something similar from a few years back. I didn't memorize the model, maybe KT will fill in the blank.

I remember I had got her a MX518 many years back.  But she said something about the cord getting rubbed through by something.

If I remember right cord just failed. I might be able to replace the cord if I can find something with a suitable cord.

I don't know how she chews up mice cords like that.  I've never seen a mouse fail that way.

In her defense that mouse had the finest wires I've ever seen in a mouse cord. let alone a premium mouse. I was kind of shocked that they were that thin. they were smaller wires than I have seen in any other mouse, I've had to have apart.

So maybe a rechargeable wireless keyboard and mouse maybe in order?  They make some pretty decent ones these days.

Pretty sure that specific mouse was not how they do all Logitech mice, just that that one had a cord that was bound to fail. not sure if most wireless mice are that foolproof yet.

Actually, they make some wireless keyboards and mice that can last a few days on a single charge.  And even some gaming grade wireless mice that are as good or even better than my wired G502 mouse.  I'm telling you, the technology has vastly improved over the years.

What mouse did you have and love?

The receipt says (ya I had it up on my bulletin board on my wall because of the warranty - sadly only for 1 year and not the 5 year one.) says it was a Logitech G302 mouse:

https://www.logitechg.com/en-au/products/gaming-mice/g302-moba-gaming-mouse.910-004210.html

The site says:

G302 MOBA Gaming Mouse
$79.95
Sold Out

We got it from our local Staples in 2016.

https://www.newegg.com/global/au-en/logitech-910-004205-g302-daedalus-prime-moba-usb-wired/p/N82E16826197023

Jeff, you don't have the resizer plugin installed for images eh? I forget BBC code for resizing images and don't know if it would work without the plugin anyway. Yes I remembered and resized via bbc.

Also, my G110 keyboard keys some stick because of spilled milk a couple of years ago but I like the keyboard's backlight and 12 extra gaming buttons so much I stick with it.  So I had the blue mouse with the keyboard set to blue and my computer case blue and of course everything black (including my monitor which is black with a blue light). I loved the look. Even my backup external harddrive is black with a blue light so you can tell the look I was going for. So ya I liked the mouse not just for gaming but also for the looks haha. Leave it to a girl to put everything matching like clothes to be up there with functionality eh? :P Even my browser is black with blue indicators ;)

Maybe one day my set up will look like this but til then I am happy:

Hmm.. Maybe I will make a "Show off Dream Gaming PC Setups" thread. Doesn't have to be what you have but what you would love to have. I made that thread HERE!

So, A Logitech G302 eh?  They are not to bad.  But I read reviews on them talking about short life span on the switches.

Jeff, you don't have the resizer plugin installed for images eh? I forget BBC code for resizing images and don't know if it would work without the plugin anyway. Yes I remembered and resized via bbc.

To be honest, I don't remember if I did install a resizer module or not.  If I did, it would work with attached images but I'm not sure about linked images.

They have it at Newegg but maybe there is something close to it but more reliable.
this one looks like about close on the features but ratings are better. g203
