For me since my fingers hurt still (should get better over the next few months as I am done my chemo finally but maybe not until next year if my Herceptin contributes to the finger and toe numbness and all) I have been not really playing any games. When I do it has been super casual to give myself not too much stress on my apendanges.

This is what I have played (not much though .. just the very start):

Palia

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2707930/Palia/

I recently updated my 7DTD as I play it in Admin mode so that I don't have to fight anything making it easier on my fingers and can play casually for now:

7 Days to Die - Sandman has his own server so you can play as you want more or less without being ganked by random strangers (just zombies). More on the 7DTD server here: Our Own 7DTD Server!

About that KT.  When you're in my server, enable the console command "DM", then exit the console and hit "Q".  This enables true "God Mode".

7 Days to Die - Sandman has his own server so you can play as you want more or less without being ganked by random strangers (just zombies).

There is a up and down side to heavily modded 7d2d servers.  The up side is the game is usually more tailored to your likings.  The down side is far fewer people to play with.  Unless that is what you want.  Then it becomes a double positive.  lol

Going through cancer I have become ultra-casual and you know I love creating and building so I don't mind it. I have always been sort of a loner anyway :P

Since I am done Chemo my fingers are feeling more normal and now my nails just have to grow out. I already see healthy nails behind them and looks like I will NOT lose any fingernails (toe nails still questionable though). So I have been able to be on more, posting more and exploring game videos more.

I thought this was worth sharing here as many of the games are coming out this year or next year:

It's no surprise that graphics card engineers have been working feverishly on ever faster technologies.  As well as frame generation tech like DLSS and FSR.  And also, with real time ray tracing.

I just played a temporarily free (free week) of a game and one of the requirements is that the game has to be installed on an SSD instead of an HDD. Remembering how Dave said don't put any games on my SSD I had it on the HDD but it would not play but would hang on load so I had to move the game to the SSD and it did launch and I was able to play it for hours with Kodiac and SqualZ. It is a space game with facial recognition technology for making your character (face only) that is still in Alpha but pretty good. It is called Space Citizen.

Yeah.  An SSD is becoming mandatory for gaming now.  Most modern games can still run from an HDD, but loading times are horridly slow and can even get you in a world of trouble if you have to transition between zones often.

I might be interested in the game Pacific Drive.  Nothing else in that list has sparked any interest in me.
