I wish
It is to help kids who can't fight their "demons" (sickness) when we can sit at the computer fighting ours (in-game demons) all day.

Here is some info from the site:
My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.
On November 2nd, 2013, I'll be participating in this huge worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers of all kinds from video games to board games and tabletop RPG's! It's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support my efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital.
Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
I actually first heard of gamers raising money for hospitals and children's charities actually on YogsCast the Minecraft video series when they raised money through Child's Play for their local children's hospital called Royal Sick Childrens Hospital. They did it in 2011 and posted about it on
their forums.
My focus for September is on the kidney walk as that is very soon and this gamer thing isn't until November. But this gamer thing .. the money goes to the hospital that did my first transplant in Toronto, Canada.
I thought it was pretty cool. But I don't expect people to be able to help me out with both. This gaming one is secondary to me. If anyone wants to help but can only choose one, Toronto has more money than my city does so really the Kidney Walk needs more help.. choose my kidney one if you wanna help with one of them as that is only in 15 days and I am quite short of even meeting the minimum for a shirt and breakfast.
