Yes excellent! Sony has always done underhanded things and have wanted to do this for awhile. I am glad the community made them change their minds. However their steam page still says it is required .. hmm..

And I keep getting real life friends sending me invites to Temu. That is HOW they get the free stuff I guess? By getting new users. It is extremely popular to send invites on Facebook and other social media.

There is usually some form of a catch to anything offered as "free".  And with organizations like TEMU, it's commonly something that is basically worthless, but enough to reel in the suckers.
