Car Theft is as Frustrating as Scammers

This hits a nerve with me as I have had my cars broken into so many times and I already proved by first-hand experience that cops will not do ANYTHING in my city unless the car is actually stolen.

This is actually pretty old news.  Been going on for the better part of 20 years now.  But the latest craze is a stupid TikTok challenge going around to steel Hyundia's and Kia's that have a normal key with a USB cord.  I've had over a dozen recovered thefts come through my shop because these cars don't have an immobilizer system.

Wow I guess don't buy those cars. Glad I have never had any of those. There are enough issues in my area with my cars being broken into over the years.

Ah Thio Joe's videos are always a good watch. I subscribed to him I think last year. I watched that one and posted about it I think on Facebook as I know some cousins of mine have fallen victims to various scams over the years.

Are you aware the major insurance companies are now denying new coverage to Hyundia and Kia owners because of how easy they are to steal?

Wow I had no clue. I have never owned those though so I did not know they were so easy to steal until I read that.
