Nice :) I can't imagine what kind of wish they would wish for

Me either.  But they better not have Oolong (the shape shifting pig man) with them.  He might wish for girls underwear again.  HAHA

Hey.  Check out this fight.  Vegito vs Xicor.  In case you don't know who they are, Vegito is a Ki earing fusion of Goku and Vegeta.  And Xicor is a abomination created from Goku's DNA to replace Frieza as the new tyrant of the universe by a rouge supreme Ki.  During this time line, I'm certain that both Goku and Vegeta can transform into SSJ4.  And I think Goku a least has the potential to reach SSJ5.  But he doesn't show it here.
Start watching from 2:04 to get right to the actual video.

I see you just got the DLC of DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 (CDN$ 69.99)

Legendary Pack Set (CDN$ 19.99)

The more you play it the more I wonder if I would like it myself.

Try to tell me what makes the game so great even for those who are not into DBZ but like "super hero type games" or anime in general.

Yup.  I sure did.

It's a matter of personal taste honestly.  I am a dragon ball Z fanboy.  So naturally, a game like this has interest to me.

This DBZ game, like many others, allows the player to relive the story of the series.  Mainly all the battles that the Z fighters had so much trouble fighting.  But you (being the player) get to be the hero and save the day this time.  You progress in strength and battle skill just like they did with your custom made character.  Or you can fight as any one of the original Z fighters, once you unlock them of course.  This is a MMO style game so once you progress enough to unlock multiplayer mode, you can play with friends or test your skills against other players.

I do like myself some custom character creation..

Indeed you can create your own custom character.  But sadly, the actual customization is a bit limited.  You can pick male or female, and choose from any one of 5 races.   Human, Saiyan, Buu, Namekian and Frieza.  Each race has skills, move sets and traits the others lack.  Also, the size of your character can effect your desired play style.  So keep this in mind while your setting up your character for your intended play style.

Example: smaller is harder to hit, is slightly faster and has weaker melee attacks, but has stronger energy wave attacks with less overall energy reserve.  The opposite goes for taller / bulkier characters.

I read about this on your Discord as well as other channels. A lot of people were sad about this. Also what does this mean for the future of your favourite anime series??

It is unknown at this point.  Akira Toriyama was the lead in DBS, but had a team of talent doing the bulk of the work.  So, who knows if we will ever see any more official content again.  I certainly hope we do.  The man and legend maybe gone.  But his work lives on in the hearts and creative minds of his fans.

Well, DBS has already started to change the feel of the experience.  In DB and DBZ, Goku just wanted to train to get stronger and had many crazy adventures along the way.  Always the hero and didn't boast much about his power.  DBGT mostly sucked.  The only thing cool about GT was SSJ4.  But in DBS, Goku constantly wanted to test his might against incredibly strong opponents.  Practically picking fights with almost anyone that could give him a fight.  Where yes, the highlights are the dramatic fights.  I won't argue with that.  But anyone that has watched the entire series all the way through, will notice the change in Goku's overall personality.
